I LOVE fried okra! My mom's is still the best, but our local Super Wal-Mart actually sells some pretty darn good fried okra at its deli (sad,, maybe, but also delish!). Now whenever I go into Wal-Mart I get a craving.

Wow, those fuchsias are amazing! Do you know the variety by any chance? They might sulk as the weather gets hotter but your peppers and tomatoes are going to ROCK! If the tomato plant starts to get leggy and keeps making flowers after flowers after flowers, you can start pinching the stems back so it puts its energy into ripening the fruit rather than making more flowers. Congrats on your kids!

Hey, I know flowers happen. I even have a couple fuschias in my yard, they were there before me and I just let 'em stay. I am envious of your ability to grow peppers. wish I could here, but especially with my shady yard, there's just no way.

Nice! The fuschia is gorgeous! And a pepper already! I may have tomatoes, but none of my peppers have produced anything yet (some have flowers- but none have peppers). How old is the lime tree? There will be a time where you say "Geez, I have WAY too many limes- what am I going to do with all of them?" We had a Mexican Sweet Lime tree that only produced 10 limes a year- I tore it out. The fruit was useless. Just replaced it this year with a Bearss Lime- and now I'm in the waiting game too....
