Make A Difference: P&G BrandSAVER

I am going to try and post things from time to time that will help everyone that reads this blog “make a difference” no matter how big or small.  It might be something as small as making a difference in your relationship, something as large as saving our earth by drinking bottled water of a certain brand… or it might be as simple as unplugging your phone charger when you are not using it.  Regardless, it will be something that can make an impact and if enough people do it and it becomes habit – it can really make a difference.

Give PUR Water by P&G - use coupons to provide 1 liter of water. If you get the Sunday paper in your area, or at least get one that has the ads in it from all the major stores – you also know that coupons come as well and Procter & Gamble (P&G) puts out their brandSAVER from time to time to help cut some cost when you check out at the grocery store.  This week they put out a huge batch of coupons for an awesome cause.

If you haven’t seen it, P&G has teamed up with PUR Water to help provide clean drinking water to people in the developing world that desperately needs it.  So if for each coupon you redeem, they will supply 1 liter of clean drinking water.  This is huge if you think about it.  These are not your normal 25 cent coupons either (ok, some are – but still), they are good coupons dealing with major brands – so using them is easy.  You probably have already bought something since Sunday that you could have used a coupon on, in turn giving a liter of water to a child who needs it.  See it is simple!

Let me give you a few examples of the coupons inside the circular this week.

Cascade, Tide, Downy, Nyquil, Bounty, Bounce, Charmin, Dawn, Febreze, Mr. Clean, Tampax, Prilosec, Pampers, PUR, Crest, Oral-B, Scope, Duracell, Iams, Folgers, Herbal Essences, Pantene, Clairol, Covergirl, Olay, Secret, Noxzema, Old Spice (Benny!), Zest & Old Spice

You can’t tell me that you don’t own some of these products or plan on buying a few in the weeks to come?  In fact, I believe it runs for two months – so at least by then you will need some toilet tissue or some Pantene… right?  These will come out again and you can use them to load up on goodies.

So if you want to make a difference today (besides voting) and the next couple months, buy P&G products with the coupons provided in the newspaper and you will be providing water to folks who really need it!  See the link below for all the information about the “Give PUR Water” campaign:
